Two Days Of Fun

E-mail Print PDF

We would value your opinion on the activity days held at the send of the summer term.  The students had a lot of enjoyment in the Two Days of Fun, but we would really like to know what you, as parents/carers, thought of the events.  We have created a very short survey, and would appreciate your comments.  You can access the survey here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Two-days-of-fun

Play Progresses

The Sports complex which will provide the school and the community with state of the art 7-a-side soccer pitches is making quick progress. The Astroturf is now fully refurbished and houses a lush artificial surface pitch. The remainder of the site now shows the shape of the clubhouse which will also act as a 6th form teaching space during the day and the sub base is being laid on the now flattened surface which will support the new pitches.

School Newsletter

E-mail Print PDF

School budgets have been cut across the country this year, and at Arnold Hill we are trying to cut costs wherever possible. We have decided to place the newsletter online only, no paper copies will be printed this year. This means that you will be able to access the newsletter, and the information within it, at any time you wish. No more lost newsletters, no more left-in-school-trouser-pockets-and-washed newsletters!

We hope you will understand why we have made this decision, and support our efforts to save money. The newsletter can be accessed by clicking here

Literacy Poems on the Issue of Bullying

E-mail Print PDF

We are very proud of learning which took place recently in literacy groups on the subject of exclusion and bullying.

Students thought carefully about the impact of excluding others and talked about their feelings and experiences.

They then collaborated in a shared learning experience, devising poetry and images for display.  Well done everybody.
